Record Store Day 2025 is right around the corner and we hope y’all are ready to dig! We’ll have hundreds of limited Record Store Day titles, as well as a MASSIVE drop of used records that we’ve been curating since early November.
Important Things to Know for Record Store Day 2025:
- We will be OPENING EARLY at 8am on April 12th for Record Store Day and we'll be staying open until 6pm!
- No one is allowed to start lining up until 8pm on Friday, April 11th. If you show up earlier than 8pm, we will instruct you to leave and come back at 8pm. We thank you in advance for your cooperation!
- In accordance with the RSD Pledge that we signed, there will be NO holds or presales on any Record Store Day titles. All titles will be available in-store only on a first-come, first-serve basis. You may only purchase one copy per title per person.
- The only exception to the first-come, first serve rule is the Wicked RSD release. See below for more details!
- Given the massive gap between the quantity we received and the expected demand from our local market, at the suggestion of the folks in charge at Record Store Day, we have decided to host a 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘 “𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿-𝗳𝗼𝗿-𝗮-𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲-𝘁𝗼-𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗲” 𝗱𝗿𝗮𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 to give everyone that visits us on Saturday, April 12th an equal opportunity at getting their hands on this limited record.
- 𝗧𝗢 𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗥, simply show up between the hours of 8am and 6pm on Saturday, April 12th to fill out an entry form at the counter. 𝙀𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙮 𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙨 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙎𝙏𝙍𝙄𝘾𝙏𝙇𝙔 𝙇𝙄𝙈𝙄𝙏𝙀𝘿 𝙩𝙤 𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙥𝙚𝙧 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙤𝙣.
- At the end of the day on Saturday, we’ll host a livestream on Instagram, where we will draw the two winners’ names. We will then email each winner an invoice for the record and they will have 24 hours to pay that invoice.
- By entering the drawing, you are agreeing that, if your name is drawn, you will purchase the Wicked RSD LP within 24 hours of receiving an emailed invoice. Winners must also be able to pick up the record at Rust & Wax.
- As an added bonus, we have FREE Wicked posters that we will be handing out to each person who enters (while supplies last).

- The week of Record Store Day, we’ll post our inventory spreadsheet that will include quantities and pricing of all the Record Store Day stock we'll have on hand on April 12th.
- On Friday, April 11th, we’ll be live-streaming on Instagram to walk you through the shop layout, discuss details of Record Store Day, and answer any questions you may have about the day!

- For those who may be unable to make it to the store on April 12th, any remaining titles/products not sold will go live on our website at 8am EST on Sunday, April 13th.
- You may only purchase ONE COPY PER TITLE/PRODUCT PER PERSON of any Record Store Day releases online. Any order placed for more than one copy of a certain title or product will be fully cancelled and refunded.

If you’ve RSD’d with us in the past, you know our used drop is always a thing of beauty. Well, this year is no different. We started working on this drop back in November and, as it currently stands, we should have 800-1,000 pieces of fresh wax, used CDs, used cassettes, and more going out when we open our doors at 8am on Record Store Day!
