We offer FREE shipping on orders of $100 or more. All media orders (vinyl/CD/cassette) will ship via USPS media mail. Please be aware that we cannot provide free multiple shipments for a single order, so if your order includes pre-order items, the entire order will be held until all items are in stock and ready to be shipped.Your tracking information usually updates within 24-72 hours. Afro Agban is the closest album in Ice’s catalogue to capturing the signature sound of the Lafayette Afro Rock Band. It showcases the band’s hallmark intricate rhythms and masterful soloing, delivering a collection of solid compositions that defined their first four records. Likely recorded during the Soul Makossa and Malik sessions, Afro Agban (The Afro-Instrumental LP) is arguably their finest work, pushing further into jazz-rock territory with extended, dynamic arrangements.
A consistent treasure trove for sample hunters, Afro Agban continues to resonate with jazz-rock enthusiasts worldwide. The album’s standout track, Ozan Kouklé, has long been a vinyl collector’s dream, finally receiving the reissue treatment. Strut is thrilled to present this full album as an authentic replica reissue, featuring an extensive remaster by The Carvery.
